The tools arethe easy part.
Every finance team in the GCC and India now has access to the same instruments this desk uses. Very few have a written answer to the only questions that matter: which work goes near a model, what it is never given, who checks the output, and who signs. That is a training problem before it is a technology one.
Innovation and AI research is one of the five activities on the practice's licence. In plain terms: we assess a finance team's readiness, write its containment register, install the workflows worth installing, and answer decision-grade research questions — with the tools named and the limits published. What is sold is readiness, governance and enablement; the research is how the desk earns the right to be asked.
Three things, in this order.
ONEThe readiness assessment
What your team already uses, sanctioned or not. Where client and personal data currently travels. Which outputs reach a client, a bank or a regulator without a human check.
A written map of actual use against intended use. In most finance functions those two diverge, and the gap is the finding.
You cannot write a policy for behaviour you have not measured. Almost every team is further along than its policy admits.
TWOThe containment register, written for you
The same instrument this practice publishes about itself: every tool named, what each is for, and — the part nobody writes — what each is never given.
Client identifiers, unredacted financials and credentials leaving the building inside a prompt. Not by hoping, by rule.
A ban. A ban is what a team routes around. A register is what a team can follow and an auditor can read.
THREETraining that survives the room
Worked sessions on your own material — a reconciliation, a board pack, a filing calendar — not a slide deck about prompts.
Finance first, then the functions that feed it: supply chain, HR, operations. The processes only work because the people do.
Six weeks later, does the work look different? If the answer is no, the training was theatre and we would rather not have sold it.
What it is not
NOT
A certification. Nobody needs another badge.
NOT
A reseller relationship. We name platforms as their user and take nothing from any of them.
NOT
A transformation programme. It is three deliverables and a fixed scope.
