Beside everyfounder.
The oldest service in the book: a counsel who sits beside the seat, retained. Everything else in this practice is what the seat can reach.
Not a house — the seat beside the throne. In plain terms: a retained counsel on a standing cadence. Ninety minutes a week, an open line, and the four houses above on call, so that when the decision arrives everything reliable is already sitting next to it.
You retain a person, not a PDF. A standing cadence, unlimited questions, and four houses of machinery on call.
The archetype of this seat, Nizam al-Mulk — often called the good vizier of Islamic history — studied in the same Nishapur that gave us our mark, and wrote the book on government. The seat is nine centuries old; the work is current.
The standing seat is the practice's whole thesis in one engagement: the counsel present on a rhythm — the flash landing, the register updating, the weekly seat beside yours — so that when the decision arrives, everything reliable is already sitting next to it. The other four houses are what this seat can reach without leaving the room.
What this house produces
- The weekly seat — ninety minutes, standing, yours
- The cadence — daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly rhythms that hold
- The open line — questions answered when they're asked, not when scheduled
- The reach — houses 01–04 on call inside the retainer
- Capability built, not rented — training and AI readiness for the team that has to run it after we leave (learning & development)
What it is not
- Not a report subscription — the deliverable is judgement in the room
- Not a shadow CEO — you decide; we make the decision clearer
- Not unlimited scope — the retainer's edges are written, like everything else

The instrument, shown
A specimen rhythm sheet — the retainer's actual skeleton. Scope edges, like everything in this practice, are written down before the work begins.
Off the board
The founder reads and listens in three beats — AI development and its governance, India and the Gulf corridor, and the geopolitics that move both. A curated reading-and-listening list publishes at the research desk, quarterly.
Over the counter
The same workshop that builds client machinery also makes small, sharp tools anyone can afford. The counter is being built in the open, and nothing carries a price before it exists. See the counter →
